Southern/Northern Germans or Southern/Northern Italians: Which phenotypical divide is greater

Is the phenotypical difference greater between North and South Germany or North and South Italy. What's the answer to this important questions?

I'd say Northern/Southern Italians. Northern Italian overlap with Iberians, French, and even South Germans to a significant degree. Southern Italians look like more of an Eastern Mediterranean people, and are closer to Greeks, Cypriots, and some Levantines.
