Survivor man doesn't take the kind of Risks that Bear does. Does Survivor man ever climb 90 foot tall Rock Cliffs free handed? All Survivorman does is eat whatever crappy fauna he can catch and drink his own Urine.

Bear also has team of film crews with him and he's more sensationalism than anything else. The guy's got balls, but Les Stroud goes out and humps the boonies for a week straight with nothing but a knife and maybe some rope he salvages or fashions for himself using bushcraft. On top of that, he does it alone, carrying around multiple cameras with him everywhere he goes just so he can document what it would really be like when your life is in danger. Honestly, if I was a certified instructor for things like Air Crew Survival, then I would show Les Stroud's vids over Bear's. I just find I learn more observing Les than Bear.
