The construction of the main temple of the Russian Armed Forces was completed on the eve of May 9, 2020.
This unique facility is located in the "Kubinka" area. The place was chosen not by chance. The town is the center of research institutes related to the defense industry. Here was the former Moscow Military Institute of Radio Electronics of the Space Forces, the 45th Special Guards Regiment, the 38th Research Institute of Armored Vehicles - the only institute in the Russian Federation engaged in developments in the main areas of armored vehicles. The diameter of the drum of the main dome is 19.45 m, 1945, the year of the end of the war. The height of the bell tower is 75 meters. The height of the small dome is 14.18 m, because the fighting continues for 1418 days and nights. The steps are made of trophy tank caterpillars, decorated with examples of trophy weapons and more.
