Esatto, infatti i Lombardi siciliani vengono in realtà prevalentemente da zone del Piemonte, dalle langhe fino al Monferrato, che una voltà venivano chiamate Lombardia. Che poi sono le zone dei miei nonni. Prima o poi apro un thread, ma in italiano così evitiamo a priori ogni discussione che sappiamo.

I'd assume in Sicily it is also of a Greek transliteration then, since there are more names of Greek origin than Arabic there. Anything ending in -aci, for instance.
