There is a difference between densely populated rich country and a densely populated poor country.You have to understand the the history,the geography and the political environment to understand the situation.Unfortunately you are filled with too much xenophobia to understand this. Atbest you know how to thumb down people who don't agree with you.
All of India is not like the picture you posted.India is a federal country,a union of 29 states and 7 territories with powerful state governments and a weaker central government which is unlike most European countries which are government from center.
India is just like the European union. Incase of EU you have rich Nordic countries and then you have bankrupt countries like Greece.Similarly India has well off states and extremely impoverished states.
The state from where i come looks like the following:- (and this is a 95% hindu majority "poor" state.)
