    Well. . . . . . . .

We're all Slavic or atleast partially Slavic here. Even if it's a personal question nobody here is going to judge you negatively in any way.

It would be interesting to hear about your Slavic ethnicity just like it would be interesting to hear about anyone elses Slavic ethnicity here! In fact, I'll discuss my own Slavic ethnicty just for you, so there's no need to be shy!

I identify only as Bulgarian even though half of my family comes from Yugoslav Macedonia. I don't recognize the ethnicity, the very name of the ethnic group is so ridiculous. To think a Slavic ethnic group can be related to the ones who was at its apex in 300 BC for a couple decades to us who came to the region in 600 AD. The people called themselves Macedonian regionally, not ethnically during the Ottoman era. Ethnically, most of the Slavs living in Vardar were ethnically Bulgarian. The force-feeding of an ancient Macedonian identity was brought upon the Bulgarians in Vardar by Stalin, Dimitrov and Tito. It pretty much died when Tito had a falling out with Stalin but revived later after FYROM seceded from Yugoslavia.

I'm 1/4 Slovakian and 1/4 Ruthenian. My Slavic ancestry comes from my Father's side of the family. My paternal great-Grandparent's immigrated to America during the early 1900's from Prešov and Uzhhorod. Of course back then both cities were part of the Austo-Hungarian Empire. Nowadays, Prešov is part of Slovakia and Uzhhorod is part of Ukraine. They both immigrated to Western Pennsylvania. Like many Slovak and Ruthenian immigrants of the time they found work in the Steel Mills. Their lives were very similar to those who were portrayed in the movie "The Deer Hunter".

The Deer Hunter" was a great Vietnam War movie which focused on the lives of Rusyn-American steel workers in western Pennslyvania! "The Deer Hunter" recieved an Oscar for Picture of the Year back in 1978.

Unfortunately, none that I know of.

My maternal ancestry (Hungarian) is more recent. My maternal Grandfather was born in Miskolc and my maternal Grandmother was the daughter of Hungarian immigrants. She was of Székely origin. Their families both immigrated to America after World War 1 and settled in West Virginia where they found work in the Coal Mines. I've had distant Hungarian relatives visit me here in America though.

If I recall, you repped the pic of myself where I posed with my seasonal (Summer 2009) Russian girlfriend. So I guess I made the cut then!
