This is prove Hokkaido Japanese are different to Honshu Japanese because their tooth are Sundadont.

These so called "Sundadonts", doesn´t have a developed epicantic eye fold, in contrast to "Sinodonts". In addition to Ainus, and as showed in the map, apparently sundadonts also includes Thais and Cambodians, and many of them doesn´t have a "sinoid" eyefold, although they are today (I think) considerably mixed with sinoids.

Sundadonts are somewhat similar to Amerindians / Native Americans.

Hokkaido is mostly mainlander Japanese by now. The way the Japanese treated Hokkaido was very similar to the way Americans treated the Wild West, with similar results (natives in reservations, mass immigration replacing the natives, etc).
