Well, hockey is not an American game but Canadian. And although is very fast and rough, you can't compare the flight of a goalkeeper stopping a soccer balloon, with that robots that sits all covered stopping hockey pocks... No way, hockey is too much robotic.

have you ever seen someone who got hit in the face with a slap shot hockey puck? I have....it isn't a nice site and requires extensive surgery if you lose more than your teeth......it is Canadian but I live next to the border with Canada so its popular here and in many other local states..... but very popular where I live. Montreal and Vancouver are our arch nemesis teams....I like Vancouver but hate Montreal. the goal keeper has to wear that padding you would be an idiot not to..... players do to have protected faces though. A goal in hockey could decide the fate of a game so for 2 and a half hours its an exciting game to watch....especially with the fist fights on the ice which can be funny to watch but not so funny if your losing because it is a penalty and requires a minute or two in the box..... I just like the sport....if I have sons I will pass it on to them.

I think hockey is far tougher than any sport out there right now unless your wild game hunting in Africa or somewhere off the grid. Its a north east thing.....if your Canadian you hate new Englanders....and the rivalry shows in our hockey games.....damn Canadians stole the cup again! [it could be because my dad is part French Canadian so its a passed down thing maybe?].....hockey to me though is a lot different than soccer....more dangerous. Soccer you might have to worry about heat exhaustion or accidently kicking someone in the head if they were on the ground....its not an easy sport but looks fun to play but boring to watch.

getting kicked in the head can fuck you up at least in hockey you have helmets, besides those fights are for show, and not really functional.
