Default Do you take any supplements

I do not think its necessary. Even Protein Shakes or BCAA`s are perhaps helpful to gain strength and weight but not a must. You can save money by just consuming natural food. Same applies to Vitamins.
I gained 20 kg within two years without any supplements by just strength training so if I can do it anyone can.

The only supplement that I cannot do without is Fish oil I take Fish oil daily and you should too. Anybody doing any form of bodybuilding (or not) is benefited by it since it aids in Muscle growth and healing, not to mention a host of other things.

It is probably possible, but you would need to get tons of protein from sources other than a protein shake. You would also need to eat a lot more to reach approx. 3000 calories per day. If you try to reach this increased calorie quota by other means you will have to eat something every couple of hours and most of the time you will feel as if you're force-feeding yourself. So, although (probably) possible without supplements, it's also not very practical.

It applies to me. I eat approx. 3000 kcal per day. I simply love eating.
But I also train every day. On rest days I restrict myself to 2000 kcal.
I consume about 80g protein daily

I take supplements on the days when I'm lifting, but only because I'm severely restricting calories in order to try to slim down, so I feel I need the supplements in order to be able to make strength gains while restricting my diet severely.
I have been slowly shifting from an endomorph to a mesomorph through careful effort, but I still have a harder time losing fat than gaining muscle. muscle gains are easy, but if you are chubby it doesn't matter how muscular you are.
I'm looking for people like me, who are crazy, fun, and not afraid of life. and one day when I find them, we'll escape, we'll break out of the zoo.

I think you misunderstood me. I know all you need is food. I was just trying to state that it's just harder with only food. because most people aren't going to get bigger just eating food. They have to eat the right foods and lots of it.

Basically, it's really difficult to gain muscle while losing fat. Similarly, it's not that easy to efficiently gain muscle without also gaining at least a little bodyfat in the process. That's why people "bulk" and "cut".

Protein is important when losing weight not only because it burns slowly and provides vital nutrients, but because it will help prevent muscle loss when your body cuts into its own resources.

Also it depends on your goals. The more you eat, the more muscle and fat you'll gain. The less you eat, the more efficiently you'll burn fat but at the expense of muscle gain.
You can easily add a ton of protein without supplements. Lean meats, Chicken breasts,, etc. Is there a specific reason you're trying to avoid supplements? There isn't anything "weird" or threatening in good quality protein powder to my knowledge.
