So...

An interesting angle on history is always seeing the cycle.. How stories and facts repeat themselves... Vlad Case and Atilla The Hun case..

Vlads Case:
Vlad was a political prisoner in the ottoman empire as of the customs set by the Holy roman empire once you conquer a new state or have a political dealing with a tribe you got political hostages and you give political hostages depanding on how strong your country is it can be a prince for a prince or a prince for a generals son.. Vlad after his education in the affairs of state and military in the so called ottoman cruelty was free at last with hunger for blood as people try to put him in vampire state but it was the political change and ambition for his rule to be stronger then the ones before him. Actually both sides educate their hostages so that they don't become their enemies. In Vlads case he wanted to switch to the papel side where corvinus is giving gold and titles instead of asking for tribuite. In the end he killed the messengers of the sultan after denying the demand for military and coin tribuite.. (Which I will come back at the roman structure of recuitment). An open 300 spartans in ya face act which is again stolen from Vlad and Atilla.. But it wasn't enough he ambushed the first forces sent to asses the situation and won minor victory. The started the so called cleansing he had in mind as described at his letters to corvinus how the pillaged and killed 30.000. Completing his transformation in to the legendary monster in the eyes of the other side. Waiting for his papel blessing so that he can be an offical ruler of an area which was a state connected to bigger powers. Remember the walk to canossa.. Pope decided who was fit to rule in the new team Vlad was aming for.. So papel autority had the power to make emperors beg for revelsal of excommunication which was their wild card and the blessing to autenticate their rule..

Case of Atilla the Hun:
The barbarian hord.. The other version of Vlad.. Another devil.. If Vlad is the bed time story of the Turks. This was for the romans. Not in the same periods of course but the history is always the same book to be read over and over. So Like I said.. The settled rules of political hostage.. Which is when the ottomans do evil.. But was the invention of holy roman rule.. Atilla was a prisoner of rome.. Just like Vlad got educated by his enemies to create a friendlier state leader. And just like with Vlad it back fired.. He wasn't even traded with a prince they didn't think much of him.. The he got back and decided to change things. United the tirbes and stopped the spully of young Hun worriors who were obligated to fight for rome. İnstead he turned them into the force to destroy it... So came the story of the barbarian hordes..

In the end two men, with similar stories.. Both wanted to change their position and rule in this Holy Roman / Persian / Hunnic / Turkic/ What ever you call it and pull it to your side as when you do it its good when your enemy does it they are goddless system...

There will always be similar stories and similar struggles and suffering.. Coins will have two sides... Even 300 movie can get in here or any other time when the collective concius of society is in such parrel that killing is justified with the reasoning of they did it before.. We all did it to each other and have been doing it since the dawn of time...

There can be historical wrongs in what I wrote but history is written in the hands of the winning team.. (Google and the World Brain don't delete the record of our existence in 2090 please)
