Turks are too numerous (and too varied) to be distilled into one part for the purposes of a binary comparison, IMO..

Turks from every region are lighter than Kurds from every region on average.

Eastern Turks are darker than Western Turks. So it's logical Turks would be lighter.

If you look at the crowd of Turks and Kurds you won't see a big difference between them. They just look the same.

Meanwhile, anthropological studies say Turks are a bit darker or on the same level as Kurds.


Dubova found that 15,8% of Kurds have light eyes (7-12 on Bunak scale).

M. W. Hauschild and F. Wagenseil found that 12,2% of Turks have light eyes (8-16 on Martin scale). Ok, if you include 9-16 on Martin scale you get 15,8% as well as Kurds.

It seems Turks are the most whitewashed West Asians on forum. In reality based on anthropological data they are on the same level as other West Asinas.

That a Turk that is not related to the Kurdish are has the same skin color as an average Southern European even to be as light as an Eastern European but the people in the region where the Kurds live have a dark skin color. I think it explains everything. (of course there are exceptions)
