English have lighter hair on average, Irish lighter eyes and frecklier skin on average.

Irish are lighter than English and comparable in pigmentation with Scandinavians. (Except with a slightly higher percentage of dark hair) I don't know why Irish are stereotyped by some as "Atlantomed" looking.

Irish have similar skin and slightly lighter eyes compared that's all. Also Irish and English have the palest skin in the world so you should be comparing Scandinavians to them.

It really depends, they can vary in looks to an extent. But, if I had to pick one, I would say the Irish are lighter.

Irish people aren't all that light. I suggest you watch the excellent film Jimmy's Hall or even just look at their rugby team. Very Nordic indeed...

I'm familiar with Irish looks. Nearly all are pale skinned. The majority (around 80% according to pigmentation studies) have dark brown or medium brown hair as adults, the other 20% is light haired (blonde, red, and light brown). In eye color they are no different from Scandinavians. (Around 50% being pure light, another 30% light mixed, and the remaining minority of dark, and dark mixed.)
