Portuguese vs. Bulgarians: Swarthiest?

Portuguese are darker because of Climate. If this is not the European Zone where there is more hot and warm climate, it should be near.

Indeed, Lisbon is the European capital with more hours of Sun. Could there be any direct correlation with Sun and tanned skin? Mmmm...

Unless someone makes a real scientific study of body parts not exposed to the Sun, Portuguese people will be considered the most tanned people in Europe.
And this is not to mention the bias that most Europeans have regarding who is whiter...

Portuguese by a mile. Bulgarians aren't that much darker than say Serbs, some can look exotic but on average they're just brunette whites.

I know more Bulgarians than I do Portuguese. I’d say at least 1/2 of the Bulgarians I know could pass as a close to typical Turk. The others as either typical Balkan, and one could easily pass as Russian.
