I love expanding on different tools for personality typing. One of my hobbies is handwriting analysis.
A few years ago, I came upon Sex, Lies, and Handwriting by Michelle Dresbold and could not put it down for anything. This is the book that I began to build my ideas on for handwriting analysis.
Still working on ideas of handwriting analysis and trying to better perfect my understanding of the craft. If you'd like me to read your handwriting and point out different traits, whatever, please post a picture of your handwriting.
A great handwriting sample consists of:
- A paragraph consisting of at least 5-7 sentences. The more you write, the more information I have to compare stuff to.
- Written on unlined paper.
- When taking a picture of your writing sample, please allow the edges of the paper to show, so I can see the relation of space to everything else.
- Write the way most comfortable and natural to you.
I'm not a lie detector, so if you're purposely trying to write weird and make up stuff to see if you can throw me off, it takes away from the fun we could have deciphering random squiggles and such.
I am also not a professional, but an amateur hobbyist when it comes to handwriting analysis, so my word isn't bottom line. If you can help steer me in the right direction so I may improve accuracy, that is always greatly appreciated .
Anyway, here's a few questions for you:
How accurate do you find handwriting analysis? What are some traits and quirks you know about handwriting analysis?
Do you know of any good handwriting analysis texts or sources?
Please share :3.
