Please, let's not start the talk about "muh ilirian worrior genez". Your mercenaries were outfought by Serb frontiersmen of Krajina.
And, by the way, it is well known who was servant on Balkans, and who resisted Ottomans for five centuries:

For full five hundred years did this little band of Montenegrin warriors sustain the unequal fight, and, though at their last gasp, refuse time after time to become allies of the unspeakable Turks. How many countries can boast of such a history, or what peoples of such ancestors?
(Montenegro: a land of warriors, Trevor Roy, 1913, p. 16)
What? First of all, there were no mercenaries, Bosniaks joined the Ottoman army voluntarily, to expand the borders of their country.
Second, they were no cannon fodder, Bosniaks reached the most powerful political and military ranks, such as grand vizier, and married with the royal Ottoman family.
Third, Serb frontiersmen of Krajina? That actually made me laugh loudly. Those "frontiersmen" were Vlach peasants settled there by your Turkish lords. Šešelj's Greater Serbia is literally the Bosnian Eyalet in its western borders:

Notice any similarity between the 2?

Also, why do you care about me saying the truth about Serbs? You're Montenegrin anyway,

Yugoslav partisans believer in the chetnik ideology, but could not display it openly because otherwise they couldn't recruit naive Croats and Bosniaks, which were necessary for victory. We shouldn't make a difference between a Serb and a chetnik, the two are exactly the same thing.

One of the primary reasons the Bosniaks we're recruited was because Prussia at the time lacked lancers, which put it at a disadvantage when faced by Polish uhlans in Saxon service and by mounted Hungarian pandours.

    Rough translation.
"Bosniaks are also mentioned as lance riders in the Danish Hussars. There, according to the Prussian model, an escadron lancer was equipped with similarly fantastic uniforms. The Prussian Bosniaks were also a model for the Netherlands, when the "Bosnian lynes" (Bosniaques) were set up as lances."

The Bosniaks fought in 1757 at Gross-Jägersdorf, in 1758 at Zorndorf, in 1759 Paltzig (Kay) and Kunersdorf, where they secured the west bank of the Oder River. In 1761 they fought at Lubien and Kanth, in 1762 at Nonnenbusch, Dittmannsdorf, Reichenbach, Adelsbach, Hohenfriedberg, Langenbeil and Burkersdorf. In all the actions and battles they fought well. Only at Trautenau (Trutnov) the Bosniaken suffered defeat, the fine Hungarian hussars (4 squadrons) routed the entire regiment.

    Progression of Prussian lancer units.

    Bosniaks in the background.

Quite the opposite in fact. We we're well regarded as cannoneers.

"The Bosnians remained a favorite Devsirme target group even after converting to Islam, and they were sought after especially for the artillery corps."

"Only the timariot bombardiers, who were mainly Bosnians, managed to survive the changing times to become the core cadre of the 1731 reforms."

Not necessarily Bosniaks but a Netherlands unit whose uniform was inspired by Prussian Bosniaks.
