The Royal Netherlands Brigade "Princess Irene" - today the Guards Regiment Fuseliers Princess Irene in the Royal Netherlands Army.

Since they were originally founded in the UK during World War 2 as a Dutch unit, they retained many of the British characteristics and since they were the nucleus of the post-war Royal Netherlands Army, the Army, as a whole took on British characteristics including the use of berets, drill (retained until the early 1960s in a much toned down version) and British style salutes (also until the 1960s).
