No, the 15% - 20% blond hair is more applicable for France. Although, some areas in northern regions are clearly above the 20% mark and show similarities to adjacent areas in Belgium or Luxembourg or Switzerland and parts of Germany too. Northern France as a whole is less blond-haired than Britain, sorry. The trolling is got to stop. How can Britain be 15% - 20%, while the blondest region in Portugal recorded was 14% - 15%! If we go by skin color only, then Britons are lighter than all Europeans with the exception of the Irish whom they are closely related to. As a whole the British are blonder - haired than the French. It is true that the French are more of being intermediates on the European scale in terms of pigmentation. There is no excess of blondes or redheads in their population. In Britain, the excess is more in redheads, blue eyes and pale/freckled skin.The French depict a Northern, Central and Southern European pigmentation characteristics, as France is the largest country in Europe outside of Russia. The so - called “true” blonde hair is not common anywhere in Europe outside of Finland, Scandinavia, Iceland and Estonia. Don’t come with your Northern/Central Europe nonsense. It is not common there. Northern and Central Europe regions are not equally blond - haired to begin with.
