I am to a certain extent. If not, I would have blown my brains out by now.

Maybe it could also be because if you blow your brains out you can't use your consciousness for all your other ideas you have in mind other than blowing your brains out?

Not really, Im too young, but I would not like to die in certain ways. Like sickness etc.

Not for myself, but I dread the loss of loved ones. I haven't experienced that yet, exept from a grandmother that was already too old when she died and I was too young to grieve.

Not trolling, I'm genuinely looking forward to being with Jesus. That doesn't mean I'm not finding enjoyment in this stage of life. Only that what is coming will be so much better, with enduring purpose (for those who are in Christ).

What puts me off from this current reality, is that nothing is permanent. You can become a billionaire and collect all possessions you desire. But everything eventually rots away or gets destroyed, become owned by other people after you. What is the point? By contrast -- as Jesus said -- rather collect treasures for yourself in heaven, where no moth or rust destroys it. Heaven with God is forever, this life is just a trial and selection period. Be sure to get selected, by receiving Jesus into your life. That's all that matters this side of the grave, and live for him, spread his love to others.

I agree.
But I myself try to be kind to others, because I know that I will exist in those my close ones' hearts and they will in mine despite death

And every now and then they return, in the form of a new human being.

when i had my surgery last year i realised as i was in the operating theatre and about to go under the general anesthetic that i had no fear of dying
i was v calm and accepting of my fate, whatever that was going to be

Of course, mostly because of the pain that might precede it , but also because death itself is a complete mystery, the possibility of councience simply fading away is extremely opressive, what about the possibility of being born again as a pig , that would suck.
