Or like us Arabs where we don't have the sound for 'P' which is why you find us say thing like barking instead of parking or barty instead of party, rofl. Though, 2,000 years ago we did have the sound back then according to Ahmad al-Jallad and the old Arabic inscriptions from that time period.

God.. it almost reminds me what Johan de Witt (Dutch Grand Pensioner) once had to say about the English.
"De Engelsen blijven altijd Engelsen en de veranderingen hunner regeringen scheppen geen veranderingen in hun temperamenten"
(And this was to be taken very negatively by a man who ended up having to lead three wars against them because of London's actions: "The English will always remain the English and any changes in government do not lead to any changes in their mentality.') Maybe we got taken in by them a bit too much after WWI and II and learned to forget about the Four Days' Battle or the concentration camps in South Africa where our kin were starved to death. Time to expand the Navy, I say. You never know when those ships may be needed. There is a reason why Dutch used to be very pro-German right up to 1914 (until the Germans invaded Belgium): they were the only ones who hadn't stabbed us in the back yet.
Wake up and smell the coffee.

Yeah. The Boers were treated like shit back then. Well, Boris Johnson right now isn't getting along with Trump recently:

So..maybe things can turn around for the UK?
