Most people in general are kind of dumb about this and think coloring determines what you are or who you look like. I took almost no features after my mom besides the color of my eyes, everyone says I look just like her, despite having more features from my dad (besides coloring). A lot of people's brains short circuit on here, including mine sometimes, when for example someone posts a Scandinavian person with very dark hair and eyes and a tan. Lol

I have a very close friend who is half-Mexican half-white American (Scandinavian/Germanic I think) and he looks like a castizo/harnizo with very deep green eyes. It's definitely the light eye color most common among mixed Mexicans. I once knew a Mestizo with bright blue eyes, too. Two castizas I've known for a while both look like slightly paler Mestizas, one of them has a sister who looks almost entirely white.
Mexicans in general are a very mixed bag genetically.
