If you are anything like me and hard on electronics, it could be any or all of them.

I had to replace my Denon CD player with a Kenwood about 5 years ago. Anything mechanical wears out. My Denon was a second-hand thing and was probably 20 years old when I replaced it. Still much cheaper than keeping a working turntable with a stylus that isn't worn to the point where it destroys the groove it is being dragged through.

Your experience sounds atypical and my experience seems to be on par with most of the people who are still collecting CDs.

I think Christino vejo is is the most misunderstood member in this forum. He doesn’t hate you for being Italian, Slav, Morrocan, Muslim, Turk, Russian, German, Latinamerican, Jewish, African, Ukrainian, Greek or whatever. He hates you for being non-Spaniard, that is a big difference. I don’t hate anyone for being anything but honestly being non Spaniard is kinda bad luck.

Wrong. CV hates Spaniards the most, that's why he has created a parallel reality in his head and spends 10 hours a day trying to convince people about his delusions.
CV's wet dreams is Spaniards being a copy of Dolph Lundgren and the rest of the world being a copy of Antonio Banderas.
