I like music, but I was never "into music" and could never connect with people deeply "into music" if that makes sense. Music is pleasant background thing to me and never played major part in my life. Could never connect to people who talk about music and things like that.

One of my best friends has what, to me at least, are kind of inverted values or priorities: music and television he takes really seriously, whereas politics and philosophy are largely a joke.

Music is hit or miss for me (and I think for most people). If a song I don't like is being played out loud, I perceive it as noise and it annoys me. That's one of the reasons I've never been a "party-person".

exposing double standards barely exposes anything, but more so shows how strong whatever is being exposed really is, as that barely ever has consequences for whatever is being exposed. Not to say its bad to do this though
