Too many people conflate speech and behaviour with intelligence. One reason why Brits are (IMO wrongly) believed to be more cultured, educated and sophisticated as a whole than Americans is because of the way they speak and their manners. Just because Americans tend to be more casual and informal in their speech and behaviour than the British (leaving aside the 'Frasier Crane' types, who are surely outliers) doesn't make them more stupid and lacking in knowledge.

As a matter of fact, nowadays I meet many more Americans than Brits who can speak foreign languages (principally but by no means exclusively Spanish) to at least an intermediate level. (The notion that the US is such an exceptionally assimiliationist and monolingual nation is really outdated, insofar as it was ever true at all).

Agreed. It’s almost impossible to have a platonic friendship with the opposite sex. At some point someone develops feelings and it puts a strain on the friendship.

I admit that i was getting too addicted to my obsessions here and was unfair with many members like Aldaris, he is an ok guy.

That stereotype applies to all Anglophone countries not only USA. Seen many Mainland Europeans mock Brits for it online.

I'd still argue that the USA's reputation is (undeservedly) slightly worse than the UK's in that respect.

I didn't like Black Panther, tried to so hard, but I would get sooo bored. The performances, casting and music were really good though!

I didn't like any Avengers movie, and i dislike Robert Downey a lot.

I think I like all avengers movies even though Age of Ultron gets a little bit boring to tbh, its an ok movie but i wouldn't consider it good, I get ba bit bored with avengers 2012 also a bit But i think its a good movie, if I would rank the avengers movies from wort to best I would rank them like this:

5. Avengers AoU
4. Avengers 2012
3. Avengers Endgame
2. Civil War (Ik it's a Cap movie, But I personally consider it an Avengers film)
1. Avengers Infinity War

There is a difference in how people(both on sites like this as well as average joe's) perceive male and female phenotypes and how they guess them ethnically.

With men, it's a lot more objective and based on features. With females, it's more of whatever they think they want to hear.
