Manchester United is incredibly overrated when it comes to their place in "best football teams in history" lists. Football did not start with Alex Ferguson.
They steamrolled their country from 1992 to 2012 and even still, have only one league more than Liverpool, two FA Cups less than Arsenal and THREE Champions Leagues less than Liverpool.
Manchester United is fashionable and marketable. Just like their own David Beckham, better for advertising than for winning.
