I don't live in the City of London, I live in the City of Westminster in London which is home to hundreds of the leading European head offices for businesses and the main West End tourist district as the most visited city in the world (Westminster has always tried to pull power away from the City of London and was originally built as a rival to our neighbouring CoL - remember there's 2 Londons in London). The separate City of London is the worlds largest banking and financial district and has its own Mayor, flag, is older than the rest of the UK, has its own police force and laws, separate to the rest of London. London's 2nd financial district and 3rd city is in the islands of Canary Wharf, London.

At least 2/3 of stock brokers and business execs quit The City (even tho Cameron vowed to protect the City of London - which has now dropped from 1st to 2nd place - Wall St is now in 1st place after years of London being no. 1 on the Global Financial Index) due to fear of the EU and the massive taxes dropped on London by the EU as punishment for Cameron saying no to their latest amended treaty.
