Yes, the Muslims influenced Europe during this period (High Middle Ages), but most of these Muslims were not Arabs anyway, and the Muslims themselves were influenced very heavily by the Greeks, and Romans, and by the non-Arab Peoples they conquered, in Persia, Mesopotamia, Levant, Egypt, etc.. The most important influences the Muslims had on Europe, as even you're source mentions were the rediscoveries of the Classic Greco-Roman texts, and the Greeks, and Romans were Europeans who influenced the Arabs/Muslims. Also, the Muslims in Spain were mainly converted native Iberians, and their descendants, the ethnic Arabs, and Berbers were a minority.
