Default Percentages of people with at least 85% of european ancestry in certain states.

I'd like to know about these: Cuba, all the central America and Brazil (do not include tribal amerinidian societies in your estimates).

    Thanks.

I have no idea about percentage but in order I'd say -

    Brazil
    Cuba
    Costa Rica

and then Panama, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras (I have no idea about Central American countries so I don't know in which order)

    This black brazilian is 67, 1 % euro :

The majority of brazilians pardos are in the range 80 ~ 90 % of europeans genes.

    There's a study about it: http://www.ecodebate.com.br/2009/11/...-que-imaginam/

The study makes sense in that it shows "pardo" Brazilians on average tend to have a predominant degree of European ancestry. One can see it on 23andme, to an extent. Pics have been posted here:

Negros e pardos do Rio têm mais genes europeus do que imaginam, segundo estudo
Blacks and pardos from Rio have more european genes they thought they would have, according to a study

This diagram from the study shows how euro ancestry was generally underestimated by the sampled people there:

You dont want us to believe that Neguinho da Beija-Flor is 67% European, do you? The guy is African-looking.

And Pardos in Brazil being 80-90% European is a gross exageration. People who are 90% European look European, not brown or pardo.

Nonsense not, but too optimist, probably.

I did not mean the result of Neguinho da Beija-Flor. You are deliberately confusing the study with an odd individual result. It is a low tactic of yours. I posted a study with many samples from Rio de Janeiro, which has nothing to do with the results of Neguinho da Beija-Flor. Most results fit with the predominant ancestry of the invidual. Many people who are in the 80% to 90% european can look "pardo", even higher than that.

There is a thread with 23andme results and the pics (check it out):

http://www.theapricity.com/forum/sho...ICTURES/page45 (there is a > 84% european woman who would be mistaken for "parda", f.e)
    http://www.theapricity.com/forum/sho...PICTURES/page5
http://www.theapricity.com/forum/sho...ICTURES/page11 (there is a > 95% european guy who would be mistaken for "pardo", f.e)
