It reminds me of what Antonio Banderas said "All my life I thought I was white till I came to America and was told I was Mexican". He got angry when they kept telling him to put "Hispanic/Latino" as his race when he was filling out some forms.
When I grew up I always assumed Mexicans looked like Antonio Banderas (I know he's actually from Spain but he played loads of Mexican characters). I think I was influenced by his Desperado films.

It’s the most ridiculous thing I have heard.
American should give up this “race”obsession.
1) Alpine,Dinaric,Mediterranean,Baltic and Nordic should be enough to identify most Europeans.
2) These are not races, just examples of possible variants. Have fun with them but don’t take it seriously.
