Literally:

I'm through with love,
I'll never saddle myself up again.
Go away quickly, love,
Don't ever call me anymore.
'Tis I must adore you, there is (are) no other(s),
Therefore I'm through with love.

Many may seek to slaughter me
Because I keep your company
They don't know they do your will
As they cause the cup of wrath to fill

Some have awoken to the sound of a flood
Which will be swallowed by the mud
Some won't wake till they hear the screams
And see streams of blood on their tv screens

I eagerly wait for eagles wings
To fly us away from the evil beast
As I pray to escape all these things
Or die with a purpose at least

We are born of above
Because He said let it be
On that day He made the Way
To return us to the tree

The time is here yet has not come
When that which was finished will be done
He's made us like the stars and the sand
And none shall pluck us from His hand

Over the mountains he did go
And back down again to be made low
With a faithful heart and a sober mind
He left behind a path to find

Now that I'm awake I can find no rest
Scattered north, south, east, and west
But He gives me peace from up above
And perfect promises of love

The prince of the air we do not fear
Though we breathe in his atmosphere
We are willing to be brought low
As it brings us high we know

Virtue grows stronger at the wound
There is safety in danger
There is purpose in being pruned
And nursing as a babe in a manger

Where is this place you will have prepared?
Where we will watch while sleepers are snared
Where is this wilderness of protection?
Where we will gather in our exodus fashion

I watch for a sign before the end of the* winds
That the broken rod will make ammends*
And travel under God's cloud in the skies
When on a white horse the false one flies

Where we'll be nursed as a babe again
To which the first pales in comparison
When will you gather the loyal to abide in wilderness camps?
When will you give the oil to abate the dimmness of our lamps?

I'd like to make music someday, I have no piano and no tuner for my lyre, but I still write poems sometimes when I feel like it because it makes me feel calm.
