by this image it may be that Pripiat original Slavs were I2 and they had a stronghold in NW Balkans and another one in historical Moldova, with Slavic men impregnating local women, thus the 50-50 East Slavic-native Balkan mix that these populations show up to today (?!)
R1a Iranics may have been more numerous, located in the lowlands towards the Black Sea, and slowly got assimilated into Slavs, over millennia, because those lands by the sea have absolutely always been invaded from all sides, especially from the more easterly steppes, so local Iranics that didn't leave for Central Asia may have sought refuge nearby among Dacians, Thracians, Slavs etc
