kids here are mixed same as adults. some have lighter hair, others darker. most kids with dark blond/light brown hair in the childhood get dark brown hair as adults.

In my family, most are born with dark hair, others blonde which usually darkens in adulthood. I'm pretty sure only platinum blonde stays blonde

I don't know the other countries but nowadays many Turkish children I've seen at streets are blond

Yeah, I'd say that the vast majority have blond hair up until at least the age of six or seven. My hair darkened to brown at that age. On my old football photo taken of 35 children of Northern European extraction at age of ten, I count 18 with different shades of blond and two with red hair. The rest are brown.
