Unless they're overweight or have some other physical issue they won't "give her a chance." Call it superficial, which it is, but women are no better. While a woman will over look a man's physical attributes, she won't give him a pass if he earns very little money unless she thinks she can't get better. Men and women have different deal breakers.

What I hate about porks is that they are so filled with a sense of entitlement (you have no right to judge me, etc), when in fact they are like other addicts (such as alcoholics): either claim they have no problem (but the problem is plain for others to see), or that it's from metabolism/emotion/whatever (so in their mind it's enough to excuse them for continuing in their addiction).

It's hard to respect someone who has no self-control and can't resist munching every minute. But hey, nature has a perfect way to remove such individuals from gene pool:
- porks, apart from being very undesirable from a sexual POV, die early of heart diseases
- drunks are in the end left by their partners, because no-one can withstand their antics, mash their brains (who look like Alzheimers by age 40) and die of cyrosis or penyless in ditches. Even if they manage to have children, children will typically avoid them.
- other less common drugs (cocaine, heroine, LSD, whatever) have even lower life expectancy and even greater impossibility to end the addiction

From what I've seen, pretty much all addicts (incl. food addicts) will stay addicts for the rest of their lives.

If a woman shows up looking multitudes better than their pictures suggest, my first thought would be...ok maybe they did this because they wanted to sort out the "shallow dickwads who think they are entitled to a fucking supermodel even though they are average at best". That, its true, is dishonest, but for a subjectively nobler cause.
