Do blonde/fair ethnic French people look more British or more German?

France is not monolithic. A blonde Provençal will look different from a blonde Normand for instance.

I will go with Germans, another point is that these people aren't "fair" compared with other french they're very typical.

The light French look mostly Northern Italians at the most, not closer to Germans.
Surely also not that of British, since the British have a Danish looking.

I think this is a bit silly question, Germans are mostly rather pure in the bloodline (Germanic, though there are some Slavic/Roman/Celtic influences)
Brits and French are of Celts/Iberian components,Roman blood/Germanic/Normans.

I think it is not silly at all!!! It's rather you who are ignorant or uninformed. Germans and French are much more similar genetically than with the British. Where did you come with "purity"?
The most common genetical component in Germany and France is the Western & Central European. In 42% for German and 59% for the French.

They look more British no doubt about it. I have been to the Midwest of the USA where the German Americans live and I have been to Quebec where the French Canadians live. They DO NOT look alike really at all.

They both have blonds but the Germans are much taller and more robust than the French Canadians.

Many could reasonably pass either in Britain or Germany, depending on the individual, but most of them look distinctively French.

No Way. I have Swiss and German cousins they do not look anything like the French Canadians I have seen. Swiss and Southern Germans look more Northern Italian than French Canadian from what I have seen. French Canadians look very Atlantid like a mix of lighter Iberians and Brits.

Southern Germans,Swiss, Austrians and Northern Italians are have the common Dinaric look in their phenotype to some degree,, The French in the Alps region is very minimal.
