Do blonde/fair ethnic French people look more British or more German?

More British, however they still look French.

I could post french canadian who look the same and before I opened this thread I did this and said to myself.....they still look french....at most they may look more similar to belgians to me. French canadians stand out in my neck of the woods just like other euro immigrants here like irish or italians...or really any group of euros.....the only european americans that are native to this area are scotch irish, english and german colonials....they all inter mixed and have a different look here. Some people are mostly Scotch-Irish/English though more so than German looking but you do run into people with colonial ancestry who look German here but that is far more common to see in Pennsylvania or rural New York.

Believe me if you put a Scotch Irish person next to a French Canadian with a more Northern look they would look different....at least to me and you.

Thats actually exaggerated. Rural French canadians could have some native american ancestry. But I have met alot of blonde haired and blue eyed canadians. Here the native tribe was very small and most died out during the wars between france and england. However most native+ euro admixed euros here do have some distant native if they are from various regions of canada. Some Southerners here have natie american ancestry.

Actually, there is virtually no differences between flemish and wallons, that's the same ethnic group but with a different language (their cultural separation is very recent). I have myself a dozen of walloons and flemish in my ancestry (I'm a far northern french) and that will be the same for a lot of native belgian/ northern french. Language does not equal physical appearance especially in a tiny country like belgium which has received a lot of internal and external migrations.

Most people think I look rather French, but I don't have any Native American admixture. I'm not 100% French either.
