Do blonde/fair ethnic French people look more British or more German?

How would anyone choose British, I guess, they have never seen British people.

Of course they look more German, much more equal tribes settled in both countries, they are direct neighbours, this is just normal.

Or can they go either way? This is a sequel to my thread exploring Med phenotypes in France. Some examples of blonde/fair ethnic French people:

Brigitte Bardot and Catherine Deneuve are not true blondes, both are brunettes in nature.

A couple of the men look British but Catherine Deneuve and Brigitte Bardot have a very French look to me. Most look French. It is interesting on 23andMe that Northern French come out with quite a bit of British & Irish in their Ancestry Comp.
