In my experience from meeting them, they usually look like some of the people from the 2nd one but with darker pigmentation. Like a pigmented version of this guy (with dark hair and brown eyes) are usually the most
common among them:

Although some of the people in the second set do not look specifically French even if they were pigmented, like Marine Le Pen, for example (looks more northern/more specifically general northwestern European IMO). Some of the people from the first set also look off.
This woman looks more Spanish/even North African than French:
