I don't see the point, it doesn't look good, doesn't engage the mind a great deal (most of the time) unless you are into extremely abstract thinking, and doesn't achieve anything. Although, i take my hat off to these people for finding a brilliant way to con people out of their money, a truly admirable capitalist enterprise.

Modern Art isn't worth the discription ''art''. It is garbage. Now Rembrandt, Rubens, da Vinci, now that's art.

Art needs to include technical skill and aesthetic value while engaging the mind at least to some extent to fulfill its purpose as art. Otherwise it's decoration, craft (though craft is necessary to build up skills for art) or nothing but speculative money-laundering for "art critics" who actually have no understanding of beauty or technique at all. Most modern abstract art has no value whatsoever, and were it not propped up by an enterprise that does not want to promote aesthetics and technical skill, it would be quickly discarded and forgotten.
Some of it, like the works of Basquiat or Jackson Pollock, is straight up evil.
