Yes, as a gay-leaning bisexual myself, I've always found 'camp queen' culture to be a tad counterintuitive. After all, if you are attracted to men, then surely you like MASCULINE traits. Not necessarily in an aggressive and violent sense, but at least men with deep voices and strong physiques.

I'm pretty flamboyant, but I will always be a little weirded out when people point it out. Because my self-image is still the same as when I was younger, I mean, even though I came out to myself at 10, I wasn't flamboyant until roughly 13 and 7 months. I suppose said flamboyance was initially fake, like I got it from being around more flamboyant people, but sometimes, when you learn how to be fake, bits of your false self get dislodged in your real self that even when you try to be real, you can't get rid of it.
