Because the streets are on another level.

Because we all know that the cakes at Mimi’s are the best in the world.

Because the parks are truly magical…

…and you’re never far from the water.

Because Edinburgh looks just as beautiful on a rainy day.

Because this has to be the world’s most scenic Farmers’ Market.

Because this is the high street.

Because you’re never more than a 40-minute bus journey away from scenery like this.

Because we don’t have monuments, we have “Gothic rockets”.

Because Edinburgh wins at afternoon tea.

Because when you live in Edinburgh, you lose all sense of perspective.

Other cities pale in comparison to Edinburgh. In fact, it’s ruined you for anywhere else. You can never, ever leave.

Great pictures and information.
Edinburgh is a beautiful and magical city. (I have relatives living there).

There is also the annual Edinburgh Film Festival,
and there's also the massive annual Pagan Beltane Fire Festival held in Carlton Hill, Edinburgh, every year too.

Plus there is an amazing hotel in Edinburgh called 'The Witchery' by the castle in Edinburgh.

Something else which I like and find appealing about Edinburgh is the weather, as I love elegant silver skies and I love rain so much. I love cosy log-fires too. I also love the way the city is built into the hills. Edinburgh is a friendly city and offers a wealth of culture and beautiful and historic architecture.
