The English language evolves, and it has double meanings. Especially with new words, there are ambiguities. Doesn't mean the language is being butchered - we don't speak like they did 100 years ago. Language evolves to be more efficient, which isn't necessarily the end of the world.

The English language is not biological, it does not mutate randomly...it is under (semi)conscious control. We have enough words for "You're a poopyface!", we don't need to strip another word of its meaning to add to the poopyface army.

'Troll' has a specific context and subtlety to its meaning especially relevant to the modern generation. It doesn't simply mean "unkind".
