You want a reason? How about the Slavic Macedonians in Greece, who Bulgaria abandoned a long time ago. They are still there bro, and most embrace Hellenism, with some embracing Macedonism. It is Macedonism that offers the only solution for their rebirth. The Bulgarian idea died there along time ago, and if Bulgaria was true to it's roots, it would support the use of the Macedonian language there for example, before it dies out completely. Nobody refers to it as Bulgarian, it is referred to as Macedonian or Makedonski. Bulgaria should support Macedonia here, aswell as against the Albanians, rather than siding with them either directly or indirectly.
