never mind I found it....I must have went to the wrong location or something hahaha.
Well those population maps of where people are or what ancestry they specifically report is pretty much the truth for New England and New York [rurally and city]...... I mean here it is obvious....most people have French [some German but not many] and British/Irish surnames and actually could easily pass in the British Islands or France.

I think these maps shows the particularly British Isle and German composition of the majority of white Americans very well, but I do wonder what the average "broadly Northern European" scores are. I think that much of the German ancestry of Americans is under that umbrella.
I noticed that the lowest the B&I average is 25%, and the lowest F&G is 8%... nationwide averages are what, around 40% and 12% respectively?
Again, I score like a Minnesotan or North Dakotan even for Scandinavian, but everything else is right around average for my region (Pacific NW)
