Spain had it's Renaissance too, but not on the same scale as Italy, though still it produced some great names in Art (Alonso Coello, Velasquez, Zurbaran, Murillo, El Greco (though he was ethnically Greek)), and Literature (Cervantes, Lope de Vega, Calderon). And it was the period during which Spain rose to be a Great Power, and began the Colonization of the Americas. During the Roman Empire as well, some of the Great Emperors were Spanish, or partially Spanish. (Trajan, Hadrian, Marcus Aurelius).

You can't deny Britain's impact on the world culturally or technologically. Though starting late they made up for that in sheer number of contributions. Half the world is playing their sports, speaking their language, listening to the music they helped shape, and using their literature as direct influence for their creative works. Works like Game of Thrones wouldn't even exist without British literature. Hell not even Star Wars would.
Send me dms asking me to classify you, i'll have Barbarianna of Barbaria here put a few holes in you. Then I'll take this guitar and smash it over your head.

The culture of Britain is strongly influenced by the Greco Roman culture and History, Rome and Greece invented the western culture and from that point the rest of the nations contibuted with their own but Rome and Greece are the mother culture to europe.

The Battle of San Pasqual was a military encounter that occurred during the Mexican-American War in what is now the San Pasqual Valley community of the city of San Diego, California. On December 6 and December 7, 1846, the Californios, and their Presidial Lancers, led by General Don Andres Pico, (1810-1876), defeated Stephen W. Kearny´s US Army column of 150 men.

Jersey shore is a good summary of Italian AND Spanish contribution to history.
Jersey shore participants are a mix of Italians and various Spanish speaking colonials, bearing proudly the culture of their ancestors and reminding us everyday of the illustrious Italian and Spanish history.
So, I say they are at the same level.

Maybe Greece in some extent but not Rome at least in a direct way, they got such influence from the acculturation with Greece though.

I know, I know, it was a joke. Anyway, this kind of topic is extremely boring. Both had illustrious eras and less illustrious eras in their history, comparing them does not make sense.
