    Europe is a different continent. This is a geography question. Your question should've been rephrased to "can light Middle Easterners and Med Europeans be classified as the same race?". The lines are blurred when it comes with differentiating Med Islanders and Levantines, especially Lebanese. I usually cannot tell the different between the two. So if European means Med Islanders, then why the fuck distinguish Lebanese, Kurds, Armenians, who look very similar to Mediterranean Euros.

    I think that Armenians are very close to Greeks by appearence, while the Georgians can pass with no problem as Southern Europeans and even Central Europeans to some extent, Georgians can be very light, plus they are literally Caucasians.
