is there anything you would have chosen to do differently to alter your path in life? a couple things? a lot of things? maybe just one mistake you wish you wouldn't of made? or a lot of them?

i realize we have a mass array of different age groups on here, which should make this all the more the interesting.

I made a lot of mistakes. One big regret I have is acting in a way to impress other people, pissing off my friends, and these other people turned out to be shitty people who ended up stabbing me in the back. If I knew what would have happened, I'd have acted differently.

I think you can only regret those things, which you didn't do, because for every decision you made in your life, you had your concrete reasons back then.

Of course there are things which I see differently today than in the situation back then and today I would make another decision.

But still in any given past situation of your life you didn’t have those insights of today and therefore acted the way you did.

I’m rather balanced and I don’t have to feel remorse for past actions, although I did wrongs on which I’m really not proud of.

Regret: breaking up with my girlfriend in high school to spend more time and money on weed.

Another regret: not taking a backpacking trip in Europe once I graduated.

Yeah I wish I would have been less friendly and more aggressive and assertive so people didn't see me as a weak useless pushover. I also wish I would have focused more on my looks and I also wish I was less loyal to people who did not reciprocate equally.

I would've spent less time working for my dad and trying to help him salvage his failing business and just focused on getting myself to a more sustainable and long-lasting career sooner.
