Do Turks Accept Turkic-Derived Jews As Fellow Turks?

Today the two largest Turkic-Jewish groups are the Krymchaks and Crimean Karaites. Historically, the Khazars, are very well-known and were absorbed into Eastern European Jewish population known as the Ashkenazis. Today many Jews, such as myself, are at least partially Turkic in origin.



Do Turkish/Turkic members accept Jews of Turkic origin as fellow Turks?

It depends on the individiual. Some accepts every Turkic speaking population as Turks regardless of what religion they believe and some says a Turk should be a Muslim first. (I think most of the Turks fits in the latter one.)

I should have done a poll. There's various non-Muslim Turkic groups though.

Yes there is Christian Turks like Chuvash and Gagauz people

The general understanding is that after so many generations of them living as Jews, even if there would have been regarded as gerim in the past they are just as Jewish as any other Jew. After all every Jewish community of the diaspora has accepted gerim into the fold, its in the DNA.

there is no "proof" for that as you fit. you're claming that you have turkic ancestary just beacuse of you have haplogroup q. just, please leave the turkic permisson group for your own sake.

the haplogroup is about 3% in norway and sweden but 2% in turkey so you could be scandinavian not turk, you should do ftdna y deep clade

My haplogroup Q1b is Central Asian. Its associated with the Khazars. My uncle did Familytreedna so I have that information. Interesting link though, we can see clearly the Khazar legacy in Ashkenazis.
