Didn't he also get his hands on the "Spear of Destiny" (supposedly the spear used to pierce the side of Christ at the crucifixion) around the time when the German army began to really kick some ass? The Spear of Destiny was supposed to give whoever possessed it the power to conquer the world.
As the story goes, the US captured the city where the Spear of Destiny was being held and took it...the war turned in favor of the Allies and Germany was defeated.

Who cares? Turin Shroud is just a fake rag, like almost all of the religious artefacts. Furthermore, the blood traces found on the shroud are from AB type, which originated around 10th century AD.
Or I should call myself a direct inheritor of Jesus Christ then, one of the chosen ones by having this holy type of blood group in my veins

Yeah, just is just a 700 year old rag. Chasing ghosts is a waste of energy. ;P

Another none-story...
The Daily Mail regularly prints similar stories about Hitler's dad being Jewish, his mum a Zulu, he had seven testicles or none, fired lightning from his arse, flew flying saucers to the moon where he met the greys who were going to help him conquer earth, he went back in time and became Jesus.....you get the picture.
Time was when newspapers used to print news….
I believe that legends and myth are largely made of
“truth”, and indeed present aspects of it that can only be received in this mode; and long ago certain truths and modes of this kind were discovered and must always reappear.
J.R.R. Tolkien
Indeed it might be a basic characteristic of existence that those who would know it completely would perish, in which case the strength of a spirit should be measured according to how much of the “truth” one could still barely endure-or to put it more clearly, to what degree one would require it to be thinned down, shrouded, sweetened, blunted, falsified.

http://www.unmuseum.org/spear.htmA legend grew around the lance that whoever possessed it would be able to conquer the world. Napolean attempted to obtain the lance after the battle of Austerlitz, but it had been smuggled out of the city prior to the start of the fight and he never got a hold of it.
According to the legend, Charlemagne carried the spear through 47 successful battles, but died when he accidentally dropped it. Barbarossa met the same fate only a few minutes after it slipped out of his hands while he was crossing a stream.
The spear finally wound up in the possession of the House of the Hapsburgs and by 1912 was part of the treasure collection stored in Hofburg Museum. According to Ravenscroft it was in September of that year, while living in Vienna and working as a watercolor painter, that a young Adolf Hitler visited the Museum and learned of the lance and its reputation.
Dr. Walter Stein, who accompanied Hitler on that visit, remembered, "when we first stood side by side in front of the Spear of Destiny it appeared to me that Hitler was in so deep a condition of trance that he was suffering almost complete sense-denudation and a total lack of self-consciousness."
