Romania has at least 10% Gypsies according to unofficial estimates. This has been known for at least a decade. It's probably more now and God knows how many are mixed breeds.

Some estimates are always higher and lower. I used census data when possible and average estimates when not. However I do believe Gypsy populations to be underrecorded in the eastern and central Balkans (from possibly as far as Slovakia to Greece).

Those nationality are not the most represent in immigration.

This man is a romanian historian and right wing intelectual being interviewed by a big newspaper. He says Romania is like the West when it comes to declining native population and increasing non-european minorities. He says romanians will be in minority in the future, since there are allready 10% gypsies and many turks and chinese are moving to Romania, surprisingly. Gypsies are widely known for having more children too. The interview is from 2010.

Slovakia is not Balkanic. Anyway I think even the Czech Republic has many of them and they tend to lie about their ethnicity in the census and in every day life too. Here in Romania obvious gypsies and mixed breeds have nothing to fear in reality, even often when they break laws and are accepted as unmixed ethnic romanians, if they just say they are. Doesn't matter if they are brown skinned and look like the Dom Slayer troll from Norway you banned today.

No way. Some have commented that most children they see in Lisbon schools are black, and Lisbon makes up a big % of the Portuguese population. Those numbers must be for citizenship, in which Brazilians, Cape Verdeans (the two largest sources of immigration), Angolans, Goans etc are not counted as non-European.

No, I counted Cape Verdeans as non-white. I used 2012 data on immigration by country. But many Angolans are ritornados which made it hard.

What about the many of their children and grandchildren born in Portugal? Do they become white upon birth in Europe?

Hence the tilde. As explained, finding stats for some countries is difficult. But it's only been one generation. I doubt the non-white population is as high as 5%.

It is probably that high. In rural areas and small/medium towns non-whites are virtually non-existent, but in Lisbon and Porto (which combined account for over 20-30% of the population) the % is way above 5%, especially Lisbon.
