Mostly agree.
I think the 70's and 80's also had some good Television shows.
I have some sympatico for old sitcoms like Welcome Back Kotter, Happy Days,Mork and Mindy,Family Ties.
Music was quite good from 60's-70's-80's and partly even into early- mid 90's.
But 80's was a good time for music, it was the MTV era.

I pick the '80s as the best decade because of both its culture and its entertainment. It was a Goldilocks "just right" time. For instance, it might have been the peak of good racial relationships so far. We went from the anti-Black racism of the pre-80s period to the anti-White racism of the post-80s period.

Agree the 80's were cool.
Not as wild in some respects compared to the 70's but a nice balance between most things and not the stooopid PC BS we have encountered over the last 10 -15 years.

Unfortunatly this current time period really is Nada.

Oh, yeah. Three or four decades all had great movies, music, and network TV shows, so you could make a Perry Mason....Judd For The Defense....Matlock....LA Law....The Practice case for each category in each of those decades. Things likely changed after 9/11. That date started the slow march to "nada".

This decade definitely isn't off to a great start, to say the least! We went from the Roaring Twenties to the Soaring Twenties (food prices, gas prices, goods prices, etc.). We're now inundated by anti-American commies, with bad smells and blue hair, who throw red paint on statues of Abe Lincoln if they can't bring them down with pulleys. It's enough to make you miss hipsters!
