Out of this choice over the last century... I think the current era is the best, since there's no one set style people follow. Everyone is able to look unique in the present era. There's so much choice of garments, handbags, shoes, accessories, and high-quality fabrics available for each person in western nations to express their own individual and personal style, that are easy to find and affordable buy, so now people in western nations can dress the way they personally choose to express themselves today. Anything blends in London and people can dress in the most amazing hats for events like Royal Ascot today.

The Victorian era (1800's) is one of my favourites (it's a shame it's not a choice on this list above).
Medieval Elizabethan and Tudor English styles are another era of clothing styles I like, along with various styles of the 1700's.

I love long silky and velvet and leather opera gloves, elegant parasols, corsets, lacy stockings, elegant lacy hand-fans, long romantic dresses made from velvets and beautiful textures, elegant Victorian furniture and tea sets, Victoriana style cutlery, mirrors, etc.
